Join a Free Paper Rose Workshops with The Story House , formally known as Moll & Mostin on the day of Miss Vintage Wedding Affair!

As part of the days events Lucy of The Story House has devised a great little workshop so that you can DIY your way to a unique day! You will create a paper rose, much like the ones in the photos shown here! Whether you want to use them for your bouquets, buttonholes or venue decorations, paper roses are easy, fun, size adaptable, and really versatile, as well as being beautiful. Use them to express your own interests, using vintage paper, sheet music, or, for those with itchy feet, maps.

Take a few moments away from the beautiful stalls, pop yourself down at The Story House craft table, and choose from a pile of beautiful vintage papers. In just half an hour you'll learn to make your beautiful paper roses. You'll come away with your own Paper Rose brooch and an instruction leaflet so you can reproduce them at home - all for free!

The workshops will be held at 11.20, 12.50, 14.20 and 15.30.

Bee Smith is now running hat making parties!!!

I have worked with Bee Smith before on the last Miss Vintage Wedding Affair in Surbiton. 

This is her stunning current 2012 collection.

 

Her hats certainly went down a storm then and now she has added another string to her bow. She is now teaching some really fun hat making classes.

Bee Smith designs and creates hats for every occasion. Bee also designs a full range of bridal accessories, from the wedding veil to the bridegroom's tie. Alice offers a great array of craft workshops and parties with a vintage twist in London and the South East - using handpicked, beautiful vintage and pre-loved supplies, materials and tools.  For a unique hen party you can book a making workshop from a range which includes "make your own natural lip balm", "make a silk covered necklace" to "make a vintage cake stand"!
