As part of the days events Lucy of The Story House has devised a great little workshop so that you can DIY your way to a unique day! You will create a paper rose, much like the ones in the photos shown here! Whether you want to use them for your bouquets, buttonholes or venue decorations, paper roses are easy, fun, size adaptable, and really versatile, as well as being beautiful. Use them to express your own interests, using vintage paper, sheet music, or, for those with itchy feet, maps.
Take a few moments away from the beautiful stalls, pop yourself down at The Story House craft table, and choose from a pile of beautiful vintage papers. In just half an hour you'll learn to make your beautiful paper roses. You'll come away with your own Paper Rose brooch and an instruction leaflet so you can reproduce them at home - all for free!
The workshops will be held at 11.20, 12.50, 14.20 and 15.30.
