Founded by Emma Lester in 2011, Look Darling was inspired by Emma’s search for an original 50s-style dress to wear to her own wedding. Frustrated by an inability to fit into the tiny vintage sizes, a problem many modern brides face and not wanting the expense of having a gown custom-made.
Bringing together the best in high-end vintage-inspired styles, Look Darling offers affordable tea-length wedding dresses from key designers, including top US brands Dolly Couture and Fancy New York. Prices start from £295; dresses are available in a range of colours and fabrics. Full-skirted 50s silhouettes are a key bridal trend for 2012, while shorter tea- and cocktail-lengths offer modern brides a refreshing alternative to the traditional wedding gown for contemporary celebrations and settings.
