Miss Vintage Wedding Affair
When: 19th February 2012, 11am -4.30pm
Where: Glenmore House, 6 The Crescent, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 4BN
About the fair:
This vintage wedding fair is brought to you by Amelia Barnes, owner of Vintage Floral Teas Bespoke Floral Design and Vintage China Hire and in association with Glenmore House. This unique wedding fair is for creative, quirky brides who want to have fun with their wedding day, using high quality, inspired and original suppliers. It’s for brides that want something a little bit special. We think that could be you!

About the venue:
Glenmore House is a superb 1840s mansion house with plenty of inside space which makes it ideal for a vintage event. It is minutes away from Surbiton railway station (Zone 6) with ten trains arriving from London Waterloo every hour. Ideally placed for London and Surrey brides.
The Elizabethan Suite has resounded to the sound of flappers dancing the Charleston and servicemen and women enjoying the swinging fun of the Fifties and Sixties. The banqueting rooms provide a discreet and friendly atmosphere for the smaller special occasion or meeting. Whatever a bride’s requirements - civil wedding, reception or social function - Glenmore House’s period setting and personal service can accommodate them.
The Elizabethan Suite comprises a double height ballroom featuring sparkling chandeliers, minstrel galleries and a sprung dance floor. It is adjoined by an exclusive bar designed to suggest the ambience of a high class 30s nightclub. Upstairs is the light and airy Crescent Room and the Tudor Room with its pretty stained glass windows.
